Inspired by photographic study of urban spaces in Vancouver and Japan, Topography as abstraction (2o17-2019) focuses on interpreting spatial elements through a series of compositional analyses. These works extrapolate form, white space and movement from actual architectural environments and recombine the elements into hypothetical conceptual spaces.
